Doha: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari has declared the recent convening of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, alongside an Extraordinary Session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, as a historic event reflecting the unity of Gulf, Arab, and Islamic ranks against Israeli aggression towards Qatar.
According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Al Ansari emphasized at a press conference the significance of these summits, which were held at the invitation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. The gatherings underscored a united front among Arab and Muslim nations in response to the Israeli attacks on Qatar, which took place on the 9th of this month. Al Ansari expressed Qatar's gratitude to all supportive nations, highlighting the collective stance against the threats to regional and international peace and security.

HE Secretary-General of the GCC Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi detailed the final statement from the GCC's Extraordinary Session, affirming solidarity with Qatar. He condemned the Israeli violations against Qatar's sovereignty, describing them as serious escalations and direct threats to Gulf security. The GCC leaders emphasized that any attack on a member state is an attack on all, committing to protect Qatar and preserve its sovereignty.
