Beijing, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of the 33rd Arab Summit, arrived in the People's Republic of China on an official state visit, at the invitation of His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China. HM King Hamad will hold talks focusing on further enhancing relations and developing strategic cooperation between the two countries, as well as the latest regional and international developments. During his visit, His Majesty King Hamad will also participate in the opening ceremony of the 10th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. Upon his arrival, HM King Hamad was received by HE Mr. Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Education of China; Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Adnan Sheikho, Ambassador of Bahrain to China; HE Mr. Ni Ruchi, the Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain; Oscar Chow, Honorary Consul of Bahrain to Hong Kong; Ivan Tam, Honorary Vice Consul of Bahrain to Hong Kong; and Olivia Cheng, First Assistant Honorary Counsel of Bahrain to Hong Kong.
