Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Ambassador Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam. The ambassador took the legal oath before His Majesty as head of Bahrain's diplomatic mission to Qatar as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. HM the King congratulated the ambassador and expressed confidence in his competence in carrying out this national responsibility, wishing him success in performing his new diplomatic duties. His Majesty requested the ambassador to convey his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, and his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Qatari people. HM the King lauded the historical and close relations between the two countries and their joint commitment to strengthen ties. For his part, the ambassador expressed his appreciation to HM the King, and his pride in the royal trust.
