His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today returned to Bahrain following a visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he met with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. HM the King and HH Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed discussed the historical Bahrain-UAE relations and means to enhance cooperation and coordination. HM King Hamad was bid farewell by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on his departure from Abu Dhabi's Presidential Airport today. HM the King had also visited Malaysia, upon an invitation from His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Sultan Iskandar, the King of Malaysia, to attend His Majesty's installation ceremony in Kuala Lumpur. During his visit, HM King Hamad met with HE Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia. The two sides discussed areas of cooperation and means to enhance strategic partnership.
