Hot and Humid Conditions Expected with Scattered Clouds Across Regions

Doha: Weather conditions until 6:00 pm on Friday will be characterized by misty to foggy conditions in certain areas initially, transitioning to hot and humid conditions during the daytime with scattered clouds, as reported by the Department of Meteorology. The report also warns of poor horizontal visibility in some areas at the outset.

According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions are expected to be hazy to misty at first, eventually becoming hazy with scattered clouds. Inshore winds will initially be variable at less than 05 knots, shifting to Northeasterly-Easterly at 05-15 knots, with gusts reaching up to 20 knots in certain areas during the day.

Offshore, winds will also start as variable and will shift to Northeasterly-Southeasterly at 05-15 knots, reaching up to 21 knots in the Eastern areas during the day. The sea state inshore is anticipated to be between 1 to 3 feet, while offshore conditions will be 2 to 4 feet, rising to 6 feet in the Eastern areas during the daytime.

Visibility inshore is expected to range from 04 to 09 kilometers, potentially reducing to 02 kilometers or less in certain areas initially. Offshore visibility will vary between 03 to 08 kilometers.
