Manama, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), sent a cable of thanks to Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives. HRH Princess Sabeeka praised his remarks during the inauguration of the third session of the sixth legislative term. She noted the importance of the national values and messages he conveyed, including his recognition of the SCW's role in advancing the status of Bahraini women through its various initiatives and programmes. Her Royal Highness valued the efforts of the Speaker in supporting the activities of the SCW throughout his tenure and highlighted the progress achieved in Bahrain's legislative framework. HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim said that this occasion serves as an opportunity to reflect on the prominent role of Bahraini women in the legislative authority and their determined and ambitious pursuit of further achievements in the nation-building process. She attributed these achievements to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
