HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, His Majesty Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, during His Majesty’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Royal Highness welcomed HM Haji Hassanal Bolkiah to the Kingdom, highlighting that the visit reflects the longstanding ties between the two countries.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted that the official meeting held by His Majesty King Hamad Isa Al Khalifa with His Majesty Haji Hassanal Bolkiah has helped strengthen Bahraini-Bruneian relations and enhance bilateral cooperation.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised that the MoUs and agreements signed during the official meeting will bring new opportunities and investments to benefit and further unify both countries.

Other strategies to enhance bilateral cooperation and issues of common interest were also discussed during the meeting.

His Royal Highness held a dinner banquet in honour of the visit of the Sultan of Brunei and the accompanying delegation.

For his part, His Majesty Haji Hassanal Bolkiah expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to developing bilateral relations and wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.

His Majesty the King's Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, were also in attendance.
