Jerusalem: 532 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque today, protected by the Israeli occupation police.
According to Qatar News Agency, citing local sources, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that hundreds of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals publicly under the protection of the occupation police.
The occupation police also tightened their military measures at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Since the beginning of the comprehensive Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, more than 68,000 settlers have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation forces, amid tightened restrictions on accessing the mosque and in the entrances to the Old City.
