IIFA to Announce Key Decisions and Recommendations at Closing Session in Doha

Doha: The International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) will hold the closing session of its 26th session, hosted by Doha over five consecutive days of scholarly sessions and in-depth discussions. The session featured the participation of a group of distinguished scholars, jurists, and experts from across the Islamic world, where the latest developments in contemporary jurisprudential issues were discussed.

According to Qatar News Agency, the closing session will witness the announcement of the decisions and recommendations issued by the IIFA council in various fields, including Islamic social, psychological, economic, financial, and halal issues. The IIFA will also honor the first generation of founding scholars and thinkers who attended the first founding session held in 1983, in appreciation of their significant contributions to establishing and consolidating the foundations of collective ijtihad.

The decisions and recommendations issued by the session will be published after the closing session.
