New York, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres warned of the lack of food in the wa-ravaged Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to continuous Israeli aggression for the 131st consecutive day, stressing that 'In Gaza, no one has enough to eat.' 'Of the 700,000 hungriest people in the world, four in five inhabit that tiny strip of land,' Guterres said at a UN Security Council meeting last night according to the Palestinian Wafa Agency. The UN Chief underlined the need to adhere to the international humanitarian law. On the other hand, spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric, affirmed that 30 percent of Gaza's schools were directly bombed by the Israeli occupation during its ongoing aggression since the seventh of last October. Dujarric added in a press conference that 162 school buildings were subjected to direct bombardment, representing 30 percent of the total 563 school buildings in Gaza, in addition to 26 schools that were completely destroyed. He note d that more than 55 percent of the schools in Gaza will require either complete reconstruction or major rehabilitation. Gaza Media Office confirmed in a previous statement that the occupation destroyed 395 schools, universities and educational institutions during its ongoing aggression against the Strip.
