New delhi: The Government of India announced that Monday will be observed as a day of official mourning following the passing of the late HH the Father Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a Sunday announcement that flags across India will be flown at half-mast on all buildings where they are hoisted. Additionally, all official recreational events will be canceled during the day of mourning.
