Indonesia: Indonesia has expressed concern over recent Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and said it has taken diplomatic steps through the Board of Peace (BoP),
According to Qatar News Agency, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, through State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, reaffirmed Indonesia's commitment to continue assisting the Palestinian people. He stressed the priority of humanitarian issues related to Palestine as a part of Indonesia's foreign policy, in accordance with the constitutional mandate.
Prasetyo shared his country's concern about these attacks, and their efforts and commitment to helping the people of Gaza and Palestine.
Regarding the government's response to developments in Gaza, Prasetyo said communication has been conducted through the BoP via closed diplomatic channels.
Indonesian President signed Indonesia's BoP membership charter on the sidelines of the 2026 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, on January 22.
Indonesia's membership aims to strengthen its diplomatic engagement in global peace efforts, particularly in supporting a two-state solution for Palestine.
