Washington, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with Ambassador Catherine Tai, the United States Trade Representative, as part of the minister's official visit to the US. Shaikh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Domestic and Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, was present. During the meeting, the minister highlighted the strong Bahrain-US relations through joint agreements, mutual visits, and various trade programmes. The minister affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to enhance trade cooperation with the US in various sectors. He emphasised the important role of the private sector in both countries to benefit from bilateral agreements, which will contribute to enhancing trade and expanding the scope of exports and imports.
