Manama, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, visited a number of factories in Salman Industrial City, as part of the ministry's efforts to follow-up on developments of the industrial sector, and to identify its requirements and future plans. The minister affirmed Bahrain's pride in the growth of investment projects and international factories based in the kingdom, noting the facilities provided by the government based on visions and strategies aimed at enhancing Bahrain's investment position as a gateway for business in the region. Fakhro highlighted the alignment of numerous projects with the industrial sector strategy (2022-2026), focusing on boosting GDP contribution, enhancing exports of domestically produced goods, creating job opportunities, and facilitating the sector's transition to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The minister's visit included Manama Packaging Industries, Creative Design, and Devji Aurum Gold and Diamond Factory. He was briefed on the current situation in the factories, and the production processes and services.
