Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, congratulated Bahraini Fim Directors Hashim Sharaf and Mohammed Jassim on winning distinguished awards at the 10th Saudi Film Festival, held in Saudi Arabia from May 2-9. Sharaf won the Golden Palm Award for Best GCC Short Film, and Jassim won the Golden Palm for Best GCC Documentary Film. The minister underscored the commitment to supporting the growth of the arts and cinema scene, within the framework of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown prince and Prime Minister. This accomplishment showcases the high level of talent and skills in Bahraini, which has contributed to the growth of Bahrain's film industry, he added.
