Manama, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Information Minister, today received British photographer, Howard King. The minister lauded Howard King's career in monitoring, photographing and documenting birds and wildlife in Bahrain throughout his stay in the kingdom, which spans about 40 years. Dr. Al Noaimi praised the specialised books published by the British photographer in this regard, including his 'Pocket Guide to the Birds of Bahrain', which represent an important documentary reference for researchers and those interested in birds in Bahrain. He also commended Howard King's active participation in 'Adassat' (Lenses) programme, broadcast recently on Bahrain TV, wishing him continued success. The British photographer expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister for the audience, stressing his delight at residing in the kingdom thanks to the noble morals of its people based on welcome, affection and love.
