Doha: A Palestinian young man was injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire on Saturday during their raid on the town of Tamoun, southeast of Tubas, and the siege of a house in the town.
According to Qatar News Agency, eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli forces fired at the young man near the besieged house before arresting him. No official details were provided about his condition or health status.
The occupation forces had entered the town from the Atouf military checkpoint, surrounded a house, and deployed additional reinforcements along with a bulldozer.
Heavy gunfire was heard in the town from the direction of the besieged house, followed by the shooting of the young man and his arrest, before the forces withdrew from the area.
In another incident, a young man and a woman sustained bruises after being assaulted by Israeli occupation forces during their raid on the city of Nablus.
Director of the Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, Ayman Ahmed, stated that emergency crews treated injuries of the young man and the woman after occupation forces beat them. Another young man was arrested during the raid on Nablus.
The Israeli forces stormed the Upper Cooperation area in the city, raided several homes, and ransacked their contents before arresting the young man.
