Al-Khalil: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested 16 Palestinian civilians this morning, including a child and freed captives, as part of an operation that began last night in the West Bank. The operation also involved field interrogations, impacting dozens of civilians in Al-Fawwar camp, located south of Al-Khalil. According to Qatar News Agency, the arrests were distributed across the West Bank's governorates, including Ramallah, Nablus, Tubas, Salfit, and Al-Khalil, as mentioned in a joint statement by the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS). The IOF has detained more than 11,500 Palestinian civilians across the West Bank governorates, including Al-Quds, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's ongoing actions in the region. This figure is speculative, as the actual number of arrests remains unknown, but it is certain that thousands of Palestinian civilians, including children, underage students, freed captives, and others , have been detained. The systematic arrests are a significant policy of the Israeli occupation, aimed at undermining resistance efforts against it.
