Iran and US Scheduled for New Nuclear Talks in Muscat

Muscat: Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that his country will engage in a new round of talks with the United States concerning its nuclear file. These discussions are scheduled to take place on Friday morning in Muscat, with arrangements facilitated by Omani authorities to support this new round of negotiations between Tehran and Washington.

According to Qatar News Agency, the talks will be indirect, with potential participation from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff. This upcoming meeting marks the sixth round of negotiations between the two parties.

Iran disclosed plans last Tuesday to relocate the discussions with the United States from Istanbul to Muscat, opting for bilateral negotiations to concentrate exclusively on nuclear issues.
