Iran's air defense forces confirmed early Saturday morning that they repelled an Israeli attack targeting several locations in the capital, Tehran. The official Iranian news agency, IRNA, quoted a public relations official from Iran's air defense, who stated that the air defenses thwarted attempts by the Israeli entity to strike certain points in Tehran and across the country. He clarified that the sounds heard around Tehran were related to air defense activity at three points outside the capital, describing the defense operation as a success. The official added that the details of the incident are still under investigation and did not confirm reports of Israeli strikes on targets in the neighboring city of Karaj. Source: Qatar News Agency
