Iraq Completes Procedures to Resume Exporting Kurdistan Region Oil via Ceyhan Port

Doha: Iraq's Ministry of Oil announced, Saturday, that procedures have been completed to resume exporting oil produced in the Kurdistan Region via Turkiye's Ceyhan Port.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the ministry said that this will be done according to the mechanisms set forth in the Budget Law and its amendment and within the production ceiling specified for Iraq in OPEC.

The statement added that the ministry requested the authorities of the region to "hand over the quantities produced from the operating fields to the Oil Marketing Company."
