New York, Chargé d'affaires of Iraqi Mission to UN in New York Dr. Abbas Kadhim Obaid has affirmed his country's rejection of the US attacks on Iraqi territory. 'We reject the attacks on our territory, as they violate sovereignty and threaten security and stability, and Iraq will not allow any party to destabilize its security and stability,' Obaid said in a speech at Security Council quoted by Iraqi News Agency (INA). Obaid added that the security apparatuses continue their work in confronting terrorism and combating drugs and drying up their resources. Regarding the Israeli aggression on Gaza, Obaid said 'we call for putting an end to this aggression and allowing the entry of humanitarian aid,' warning against the danger of escalating the conflict in the region.
