Iraq, US Hold Talks on Security and Stability in Middle East

Baghdad: Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed today security challenges in the Middle East and crisis management mechanisms in the region with a number of US officials, led by Senator Jacky Rosen, who are visiting Baghdad.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting discussed the progress of the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States, exchanged views on areas of disagreement and common ground, and emphasized the need to reach understandings that support regional peace and stability.

On this occasion, the US delegation affirmed Washington's continued support for the Baghdad authorities to overcome internal and regional security challenges.
