Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid Thursday discussed with visiting Iranian Foreign Minister-designate Ali Bagheri Kane, bilateral relations between the two countries. Discussions also dealt with developments in Palestine, where the Iraqi President stressed the need to work on an immediate ceasefire, protect civilians, and prevent the expansion of the war zone in the region, which would have dire consequences if it expands.
