Doha: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met today with Commander of the US Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper to discuss the importance of continued communication between Iraqi security and military leaders and the international coalition forces. During the meeting, Al-Sudani highlighted the role of the Central Command in completing the requirements for the end of the international coalition's mission and the handover of Ain Al-Asad Air Base to Iraqi forces, as well as the support provided by the international coalition to Iraq in the war on terror and the fight against ISIS.

According to Qatar News Agency, Cooper affirmed the readiness to provide logistical and technical support to Iraq and to continue cooperation between Baghdad and the coalition at higher levels.
