The occupation authorities seized about 12,715 dunums of Palestinian land located south of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission confirmed that the occupation authorities confiscated a large area of land in the village of Aqraba, amounting to an area of approximately 12,715 dunams. The authority said that the confiscation decision was made under the pretext that 'they are state lands' with the aim of 'transferring citizens' lands to the growing settlement project and prohibiting citizens from entering these lands under the pretext that they have become state lands.' She added that the new decision is part of a large plan aimed at controlling the eastern slopes of the West Bank, specifically those adjacent to the Jordan Valley and the edge of the Jordan Valley, by controlling vast areas in this region. The Authority added that since the beginning of 2024, the occupation authorities have issued four announcements to convert citizens' lands into state la nds, prohibiting citizens from accessing them and thus cultivating, using and reclaiming them Source: Maan News Agency
