Gaza city: As many as 19 Palestinians were killed and others wounded as the Israeli occupation forces pressed ahead Wednesday with unceasing aerial bombardment on several areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources in Gaza reported that five Palestinians were killed when the occupation targeted a gathering of residents on Al Thalathini Street, south of Gaza City, as they queued to collect water from a truck. Two others were killed in an Israeli strike on Al Nafaq Street in the Al Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza City, while another civilian was killed and several wounded when occupation warplanes bombed a house near Al Tabe'een Mosque in the same district.
Further south, two Palestinians were killed, and others wounded after occupation aircraft struck a group of citizens near Al Istijaba Mosque in the Al Sabra neighborhood, while another was killed in an Israeli air raid near Al Farouq Mosque in Al Zaytoun. Four more people were killed, and several injured, when warplanes bombed a house on Aidiya Street, west of the city.
The Israeli Occupation's combat aircraft also destroyed the headquarters of the Electricity Company on Al Thalathini Street in the Al Sabra district. In the central Gaza Strip, four were killed and others injured after Israeli warplanes targeted a tent sheltering displaced persons near the College Towers, northwest of Deir Al Balah. Additional casualties were reported in a strike on a tent within the grounds of Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city.
Meanwhile, several citizens were injured when an Israeli drone bombed a tent hosting displaced families near the field hospital southwest of Al Zawaida town. The Israeli occupation has now sustained its relentless aggression against the Gaza Strip for nearly two years, pounding disparate areas of the enclave, which is already grappling with an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
