Gaza City: At least eight Palestinians were martyred on Wednesday, most of them children, while dozens were injured following an Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia Bus Station in the Al Daraj Quarter of Gaza City, medical sources reported. This major escalation was followed by the Israeli demolition of residential structures east of Jabalia in the enclave.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources in the Strip announced the martyrdom of 52 Palestinians in an Israeli aerial offensive targeting multiple areas across the enclave since dawn on Wednesday. The Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out their offensive on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the killing of 53,573 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and the injury of 121,688 others. The toll remains incomplete, as several victims are still trapped beneath the rubble and lying in the streets, beyond the reach of paramedics and rescuers.
