Gaza City: The Israeli occupation army on Saturday launched a series of aerial offensives on many areas across the Gaza Strip, which killed 15 Palestinians and injured others.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that six people, including women and children from a single family, were martyred in an Israeli drone attack that hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al Mawasi area of Al Qarara, north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Paramedics later pulled the body of another martyr from the rubble following a separate strike in Khan Younis. Four other civilians, including a young girl, succumbed to injuries they had sustained in earlier Israeli bombardments on Khan Younis in the south, as well as Deir Al Balah and Al Bureij in central Gaza, underscoring the ongoing carnage and the mounting toll exacted by Israel's relentless onslaught, the sources added.
In Gaza City, four individuals were martyred and others wounded after Israeli fighter jets targeted a vehicle near the Al Sahaba Medical Complex in the Al Daraj neighborhood in the heart of the city.
Earlier Saturday, the death toll from the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip soared to 54,381, with 124,054 injured since the onset of the war on Oct. 7, 2023, marking yet another grim milestone in Israel's protracted campaign of annihilation against the Palestinian people.
