Sidon: Three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike Thursday on a car near the Awali checkpoint at the northern entrance to Sidon, southern Lebanon. Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that the attack also resulted in a fourth person being seriously injured, and subsequently transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to Qatar News Agency, NNA also noted that the Israeli entity targeted a bus carrying a number of UNIFIL soldiers in Sidon with a drone, which resulted in the injury of three UN soldiers, who were treated in the field. Lebanon has been subjected to Israeli aggression since Oct. 5, which has left thousands dead and wounded, and forced around two million people to flee the south of the country.
