Beirut: One person was killed and another injured in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, citing the Ministry of Health, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car between the towns of Deir Amas and Siddiqin in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, resulting in one fatality and one injury.
A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon went into effect in November 2024, which required the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from the border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. The Lebanese government later agreed to extend the deadline until last February. However, the occupation army remained in five locations and continues its violations, exceeding 4,500, as stated by the Lebanese army several days ago.
