Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces and settlers continue to carry out various violations against the Palestinian people, including raids and assaults on land across governorates of the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Jerusalem Governorate said in a statement on Sunday that Israeli forces opened fire at a gathering of civilians in the Bedouin community of Jabal Al-Baba, wounding one person and arresting another Palestinian. The statement described the incident as part of a continuing pattern of violations targeting Palestinian Bedouin communities in the Jerusalem area, particularly shepherds, within a repressive policy aimed at restricting their livelihoods and forcibly displacing them from their land and grazing areas.
Israeli occupation forces also fired sound bombs and tear gas at civilians in the Rajoum A'li area, following an attack by settlers on residents and shepherds, resulting in injuries to two children, one due to physical assault and the other after being run over. In a related incident, settlers assaulted Palestinians while they were plowing their land in Khirbet Salama near the village of Khirsa, south of Hebron.
Cities, towns, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem are witnessing daily raids, incursions, land leveling, tree uprooting, and the seizure of property by Israeli forces and settlers. These actions are accompanied by confrontations, arrests, the use of live and rubber bullets, and tear gas against Palestinians. Such measures have intensified in parallel with the ongoing and unprecedented Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
