Israeli Forces Arrest 16 Palestinians in West Bank Operations

Doha: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested 16 Palestinians on Sunday in the occupied West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the IOF arrested eight Palestinians in Al-Khalil governorate, five others in Bethlehem, and a young man in northern Tulkarm. The IOF also arrested a freed captive in the city of Ariha, and another one during their raid on the town of Anata, northeast of Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds).

In a related context, a number of colonists stormed an area in the West Bank and raided agricultural lands, under the protection of the IOF. These arrests come as part of the escalating policy pursued by the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, which aims to terrify Palestinians, restrict their movement, and persecute activists and released prisoners.
