Israeli Forces Arrest 22 Palestinians in West Bank Sweep

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces launched a massive arrest campaign from yesterday evening until Tuesday morning, targeting at least 22 Palestinians from the West Bank, including four women, a journalist, and former prisoners.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli occupation has continued its aggression on the Jenin and Tulkarm governorates for nearly 100 days, accompanied by ongoing arrests and field investigations. Since the beginning of the invasion, more than 600 arrests have been made in Jenin and its refugee camp, while approximately 260 arrests have been made in Tulkarm and its refugee camps, including those arrested and subsequently released.

These arrest campaigns constitute the most prominent, consistent, and systematic policies employed by the occupation forces. They are also among the most prominent tools of the "collective punishment" policy, which also constitutes a central tool for the occupation to target civilians, in light of the comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
