Israeli Forces Conduct Fresh Incursions into Syrian Territories

Quneitra: Israeli occupation forces continued their incursions into Syrian territories Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli occupation forces infiltrated the villages of Al Ajraf, Al Mushairifa, and Umm Batna in the Quneitra countryside, searching and surrounding a number of houses, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.

SANA added that an occupation patrol consisting of four military vehicles and two tanks departed from the Adnaniyah checkpoint, traveling along the road to Al Mushairifa village towards Al Ajraf village. The patrol stopped in Al Mushairifa and proceeded to search several houses.

SANA also reported that another occupation convoy consisting of seven military vehicles and two tanks stormed Umm Batna village and surrounded a house located west of the Umm Batna checkpoint, without providing any information about the reasons or objectives behind the incursion.

Earlier Monday, occupation forces had also infiltrated the village of Ma'ariya, located in the Yarmouk Basin area, west of Daraa Governorate, near the occupied Golan Heights. The occupying forces continue their violations of Syrian territorial sovereignty, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, international law and Security Council resolutions, as they repeatedly carry out attacks and ground incursions in the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa.

Syria has condemned these Israeli attacks and called on the international community to take urgent measures to stop them.
