Israeli Forces Conduct New Incursions in Southern Syria

Jakarta:Southern Syria Israeli forces have renewed their incursions into several areas of Quneitra and Daraa. In the western countryside of Daraa, Israeli occupation forces advanced into the Yarmouk Basin. A force with three vehicles entered through Abu Al-Ghaithar gate, moving through Wadi Al-Raqqad and along Ain Al-Tinah road towards the towns of Jamla and Abidin. Another force advanced toward the village of Saida Al-Hanout in the Quneitra countryside.

According to Qatar News Agency, an Israeli force of eight military vehicles advanced on Saturday into the area north of Kudna in the Quneitra countryside. The force deployed in one of the town’s neighborhoods and conducted searches of homes while Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over Wadi Al-Raqqad and the Yarmouk Basin.

These actions by Israeli forces represent ongoing violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. Syria has repeatedly called on the international community to stop these violations and demand Israel’s full withdrawal from Syrian territory.
