Israeli Forces Detain 16 Palestinians in West Bank

Ramallah: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained at least 16 Palestinians across various areas in the West Bank on Sunday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the IOF conducted operations in multiple locations, resulting in the arrest of nine civilians in Salfit city, three individuals west of Jenin, and two more south of occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds). Additionally, a young Palestinian was detained west of Nablus, and another was arrested in Tulkarm.

The IOF also carried out operations in the towns of Biddu and Beit Anan, located west of Al-Quds. These actions are part of what is described as an escalating policy by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, aimed at intimidating the Palestinian population, restricting their movement, and targeting activists and former prisoners.
