Israeli Forces Detain Three Men and Move Into Southern Quneitra Countryside

Quneitra: Israeli occupation forces arrested three young men from the village of Briqueh in southern Quneitra countryside, southern Syria, on Sunday. The youths were pursued and fired upon to force them to stop before being taken to the Western Red Hill checkpoint.

According to Qatar News Agency, an Israeli occupation force, consisting of two Humvees, advanced into the area and set up a temporary checkpoint on the Ras al-Halabi road between the village of Ruwayhina and the town of Nab' al-Sakhr.

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces had also penetrated the village of Al-Samadaniyah in central Quneitra countryside.

Israeli occupation continues its aggressive policies and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by advancing into the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa and committing acts of aggression against civilians. Meanwhile, Syria has repeatedly called on the international community to implement United Nations resolutions, end the Israeli occupation of Syrian territories, and take responsibility for curbing these unlawful actions.
