Quneitra: Israeli occupation forces infiltrated the village of Bariqa al Qadima in the southern Quneitra countryside again on Tuesday. The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that an occupation force consisting of three vehicles entered through the entrance to the town of Bir Ajam and headed towards the village of Bariqa al Qadima, where its members deployed and positioned themselves near the village's residents.
According to Qatar News Agency, earlier Tuesday, an occupation force consisting of three Humvees, in addition to a vehicle from Tell al Ahmar, entered through the road to the village of Koudna, reaching the Youth Housing area, a cluster of abandoned residential buildings located southeast of Bariqa. They searched the buildings before continuing eastward towards the Rasem Sand area, and then to Tell Abu Qubays, adjacent to the village of Ain Zawan.
Israel continues its aggressive policies and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by incursions into southern Syria and attacks on civilians. Syria consistently demands the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, asserting that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect under international law.
Syria calls upon the international community to uphold its responsibilities, deter the occupation's practices, and compel Israel to withdraw completely from southern Syria and return to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
