Quneitra: Israeli occupation forces on Monday infiltrated the villages of Ruwayhina and Bariqa in the Quneitra countryside of southern Syria.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that an Israeli occupation force consisting of three vehicles entered the village of Ruwayhina and established a checkpoint near a UNDOF (United Nations Disengagement Observer Force) position on the road connecting Ruwayhina, Bir Ajam, and Zubayda.

SANA further reported that another Israeli force, also consisting of three vehicles, infiltrated the village of Bariqa. They set up a temporary checkpoint at the Al Kabbas intersection in the village center before withdrawing.

Earlier on Monday, an Israeli force of five vehicles had already entered the village of Al Samdaniyah Al Sharqiyah and proceeded toward Tell Krum Jaba in the northern countryside of the province.

The Israeli army's actions are seen as a continuation of its policies and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. These actions involve incursions into southern Syria, including raids, arbitrary arrests, forced displacement, property destruction, and the bulldozing of agricultural land.

Syria has consistently called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, maintaining that all actions by Israel in southern Syria are null and void under international law. The Syrian government urges the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to deter these occupation practices and compel Israel to withdraw completely from southern Syria, thereby returning to the terms of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
