Israeli Forces Intensify Incursion into Southern Syria’s Quneitra Countryside

Doha: An Israeli force aboard five military vehicles on Saturday advanced further into Eastern Tal Al-Ahmar in the southern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, once again coming from Western Tal Al-Ahmar, local sources reported. The operation marks a significant development in the region, stirring tensions and highlighting ongoing conflicts.

According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli occupation forces targeted the Abidin'Maariya road in the western Daraa countryside with stun grenades deployed by drones. There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage from this particular operation. The actions are part of a pattern of incursions and military maneuvers that continue to unsettle the region.

Israel's activities in the area have been seen as a breach of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, as the forces conduct ground incursions into southern Syria, reportedly assaulting citizens, conducting home raids, making detentions, and carrying out land-clearing operations. Syria has called upon the international community to address these breaches and press Israel to fully withdraw from the occupied Syrian territories.
