Israeli Forces Shell Villages in Western Daraa, Southern Syria

Daraa: Israeli occupation forces shelled the vicinity of the villages of Kuya and Abdeen in the Yarmouk Basin area west of Daraa in southern Syria. The shelling targeted open areas, and no casualties were reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli occupation forces had previously infiltrated the village of Al Mushairifa in the northern Quneitra countryside, establishing a temporary checkpoint and arresting a young man from the village. This action is part of ongoing aggression and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria.

Syria persistently calls for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territories. The Syrian government asserts that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and lack legal effect under international law. Additionally, Syria urges the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by deterring the occupation's practices and compelling Israel to withdraw completely from southern Syria.
