West Bank: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested 25 Palestinians in the West Bank today, including a woman and freed captives.
According to Qatar News Agency, a joint statement released by the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) reported that these arrests occurred across the governorates of Al-Khalil, Nablus, Ramallah, Qalqilya, and Al-Quds. The statement highlighted the ongoing aggression by the occupation forces, particularly in the governorates of Jenin and Tulkarm, which have been subjected to weeks of intensified military activities, including arrests and field investigations.
The IOF's actions are described as a continuation of systematic arrests and field investigations, a prominent policy that has seen a significant escalation following October 2023. This escalation is not merely in the number of detainees but also in the severity of the actions taken by the occupation forces.
