Israeli occupation forces detained at least 35 Palestinians, including minors and freed prisoners, from across the occupied West Bank during the past two days, said the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs. In a joint statement, the prisoners' institutions said that the detentions, which were conducted across most of West Bank governorates, were followed by attacks on detainees and their families, in addition to widespread vandalism and destruction of citizens' homes. These detention campaigns constitute a firm and systematic policy used by the occupation forces to enforce collective punishment and target the Palestinians. The Israeli occupation army has stepped up the spate of detention campaigns in West Bank since the start of its unprecedented aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct.7, 2023, with the number of detainees now reaching over 10,200.
