Jerusalem: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished eight homes and an agricultural facility in several areas across the West Bank on Monday, continuing their contentious operations in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the IOF targeted a Palestinian house in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan, located south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, citing the absence of a construction permit as the reason for demolition. Additionally, in the Jabal Al-Mukabber neighborhood, southeast of occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), a family was compelled to self-demolish three of their homes under pressure from the Israeli authorities.

In the town of Ni'lin, west of Ramallah, the IOF demolished three houses belonging to Palestinians, along with an agricultural facility used for raising livestock. Meanwhile, in the Araba Station area, southwest of Jenin, a three-story house owned by a Palestinian was demolished amidst a strong military presence, highlighting the heightened tensions in the region.

The Araba Station area has witnessed a surge in the Israeli occupation's intensified measures, which include bulldozing, demolition, and targeting of both commercial and agricultural facilities. These actions have resulted in significant damage to the livelihoods of Palestinians and local business owners.

The ongoing Israeli occupation activities in the West Bank are further exacerbated by colonist attacks on Palestinian communities, often carried out under the protection of the IOF, perpetuating a cycle of aggression and provocation in the region.
