Gaza City: The toll of fatalities from the Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip has reached 48,503 martyrs, with 111,927 individuals injured since October 7, 2023.

According to Qatar News Agency, the daily statistical report issued by the Ministry of Health in Gaza indicates that 36 martyrs were received at Gaza's hospitals during the latest 24-hour reporting period. Among these, 32 bodies were recovered from under the rubble, and 4 individuals were shot dead by Israeli forces. Additionally, 14 individuals were hospitalized.

The report further elaborates that several victims remain trapped under the rubble and scattered on the streets. Paramedics and civil defense personnel face difficulties reaching them due to ongoing hostilities and blockades.

A ceasefire deal between the Hamas movement and Israel took effect on January 19, 2025. However, the Israeli occupation forces continue to breach its provisions, conducting airstrikes and gunfire operations in various regions of the Gaza Strip, resulting in ongoing casualties.
