Gaza city: Four Palestinians were injured on Sunday after an Israeli quadcopter detonated in the Rimal neighborhood in western Gaza City, medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, the incident in Gaza City is part of a wider escalation of violence in the region. On the same day, Israeli occupation forces carried out a significant detonation operation in the southeast of Khan Younis City, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in a substantial number of casualties. Since October 7, 2023, the number of fatalities in the Gaza Strip has reached 71,657, with the number of injuries soaring to 171,399.
