Beirut: Israeli warplanes launched a series of heavy airstrikes on Haret Hreik, a neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburb, early Saturday, according to Lebanon's National News Agency. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes conducted a series of airstrikes on the towns of Abbasiyeh al-Bazouriya, Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, Ain Baal, and Batoulbeh in Tyre district, in conjunction with artillery shelling targeting the surroundings of the towns of Shama, Majdalzon, Tyre Harfa al-Jbeen, and Wadi Hamoul in Naqoura and the outskirts of Alma al-Shaab. According to Qatar News Agency, Lebanon has endured over a year of Israeli aggression, which escalated significantly since late September. This intensified violence has resulted in the tragic loss of thousands of civilian lives, left many more injured, and forced over a million people to flee their homes.
