Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi met today with his Algerian counterpart Brahim Merad. The meeting dealt with ways to enhance and develop bilateral cooperation and joint work between the two countries in various fields were discussed. The two sides appreciated the ongoing work in the field of police cooperation between the police academies of the two countries, in addition to the exchange of expertise and training in civil protection and prevention of major disasters. The two also agreed on the need to continue working on other areas, especially economic ones, such as agricultural and industrial investment. Source: Qatar News Agency
