Jordan: Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi to discuss bilateral relations, regional developments, and issues related to Iran's nuclear program.
According to Qatar News Agency, Safadi stressed the importance of diplomacy and dialogue as the only viable means of addressing the Iranian nuclear file. He also reaffirmed Jordan's support for efforts aimed at reducing escalation, easing tensions, and achieving de-escalation across the region.
The Jordanian foreign minister reiterated his country's firm position on the rejection of violations of state sovereignty and underscored the need to respect international law.
The call comes amid continued regional uncertainty and renewed international focus on diplomatic pathways to address security and nuclear-related challenges in the Middle East.
